What checks should I consider when buying?
Ask about building, pest or strata reports and other checks appropriate to the property. Discuss the contract, finance and any special conditions with your adviser before you commit.
What is included in a conveyancing quote?
Inclusions depend on the particular transaction. Ask for a current written quote identifying the professional fees, PEXA charge and any additional reports, certificates or other costs.
Does the quoted fee include every possible cost?
No. The source fee guide excluded some additional reports and certificates and assumed no complications or unforeseen events. Stamp duty, rates and taxes may also be payable.
