Property support for your next move

Choose the journey that fits your transaction, or contact the team if you are unsure where to start.

Buying, selling or planning a project?

For a purchase, start with understanding the proposed contract, the checks appropriate to the property and your finance requirements before committing. For a sale, contact the team early about preparing the sale contract and your proposed timing.

If you are an investor, subdivider, developer or builder, tell us about the project and the assistance you need. Alongside helping families move home, the Rose practice assists with small to medium property projects; the team can discuss the scope suited to your transaction.

Prepare for a conveyancing quote

Tell us whether you are buying or selling, a little about the property and any important dates. Mention a mortgage or particular settlement requirements so these can be considered when discussing the work.

Ask for a current written quote setting out the professional fees, inclusions and any additional reports, certificates or other charges. Conveyancing fees are not the whole cost of a property transaction: duty, rates, taxes and other adjustments may also apply.

Need help beyond the property transaction?

If your enquiry also involves a business structure, a will or a legal dispute, we can explain a referral to the appropriate Meridian Legal team. Contact the Rose team to discuss where to start, or read our conveyancing FAQs for general preparation guidance.
